Clear aligner is a method of adjusting teeth arrangement using transparent, removable overlays, which are designed
individually for each patient. This treatment is comfortable and cheaper than using a solid instrument. It is intended especially for those who can not afford the solid instrument and want their orthodontic treatment being unnoticeable.
Since the overlays are removable , they provide a comfort life for every day situations; having meals, social and business
activities etc. They also ensure a good hygiene during the treatment. System Clear Aligner can be joined together with some other orthodontic techniques. The overlays is a perfect solution for those who are allergic to nickel and composite glue.
The treatment process.
- During the first consultation, the stomatologist evaluates the defect qualification for treatment .
- Treatment planning - diagnostic models and X rays diagnosis are being presented for patient along with a precise explanatory treatment plan. Further disscusion includes time and cost estimation.
- After the plan has been accepted within 3 -4 days the patient receives the first overlays set . There are three thickness sizes (soft, medium and hard) for each dental arch. Patient should wear each of them according to stomatologist's recommendation. The amount of stages depends on the patient's defect.
- Retention period (teeth stabilization ) usually takes twice as long as the active treatment.
